PI AF Connection

Defines a connection to a PI AF server, which will be used by the PI AF Source and PI AF Destination nodes.

Configuration

Host Name (Optional)

The host name of the PI AF server to connect to.

Port (Optional)

The port of the PI AF server to connect to.

Authentication Mode

Implicit

Connects to the server using default credentials to allow sending and retrieving data.

Explicit

Open a connection to the PI Data Archive using the specified credentials to allow sending and retrieving data.

Impersonation

The node will be started and authenticates as the user defined in the Username and Password properties.

Authentication Mode

The authentication mode to use when making an explicit connection

Windows Authentication

Specifies that Windows Authentication should be used when making the connection.

PiUser Authentication

Specifies that PI User Authentication should be used when making the connection.

User

The username to use to authenticate on the PI Server

Password

The password to use to authenticate on the PI Server
